| Key Concept |
| You can use transaction SMWP to access the Monitoring Cockpit, a central monitoring tool for CRM Middleware that allows you to access important administration and monitoring tools. Monitoring CRM Middleware is an important responsibility of the SAP CRM system administrator and can be automated with Monitoring Cockpit functionality. It provides information about the statuses of different nodes or monitoring elements. CRM Middleware monitoring is a proactive exercise aimed at ensuring potential system issues are quickly identified before they affect the performance and availability of the system. |
Monitoring CRM Middleware is essential for the availability of your system. Transaction SMWP provides a comprehensive tool that combines different monitoring tools and transactions in the areas of queued Remote Function Call (qRFC) monitoring, Business Document (BDoc) monitoring, and initial load monitoring. Transactions SMQ2 or RZ20, SMQR or RZ20, SMQ1or RZ20, and SMQS or RZ20 are used to monitor inbound queue, inbound queue scheduler, outbound queue, and outbound queue scheduler, respectively. Furthermore, transactions SMW01, SMW02, and R3AM1 are used to monitor BDoc details, the BDoc summary, and the initial load, respectively.
